This standard through girder bridge crosses an unnamed tributary of Mosquito Creek along Iowa Highway 191 south of Portsmouth.
Originally built in 1907 to cross Mosquito Creek at Bridge #Z-1510 near Yorkshire, Iowa; this bridge was moved here in 1946 after a new bridge was constructed at Yorkshire.
The bridge features a single 80-foot "C3" type through girder, set onto concrete substructures.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition. A missing Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Company plaque was found, although no date stamp could be found.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
